If your hands are sore from using your computer a bit too often, suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, or if your office is really chilly, then perhaps the WarmMe® Warm Mouse will help solve your aches and pains and help keep you warm. It is very easy to plug into your mouse port (tech term "plug and play"), switch on and feel the heat to relax your tight hand and wrist muscles. Since this is an optical mouse, you do not need to use a mouse pad.
Touted as the original ergonomic warm mouse, this mouse will work with any PC, MAC or notebook computer. It plugs into the USB port and has the standard three buttons / scrolling bar. There is an on/off switch on the cord to turn on/off the infrared heat.. According to their web site, it claims to improve circulation in your hands, fingers and thumb through natural infrared rays which are gently emitted, reflected and refracted in the soft tissues of your fingers and hands. It even claims to help to reverse damage done from overworked joints.
After crawling behind my computer to access the USB port, feeling a bit like a mouse, I found that this device worked just as well as any other mouse with the added bonus of heat. It takes just about a minute to heat up to about 104 degrees. It could be a great deterrent if your coworker sneaks in and tries to use your machine...they would be caught off guard by the warmth of the mouse and worry that something is wrong then scurry on their way. Just keep the therapeutic benefits to yourself so you do not have to share. I did not notice an overwhelming sense of relaxation while using this device but it is a nice warm feeling. If you suffer from mouse-hand fatigue or the more technical diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome, this could be just the right mouse for you.
The WarmMe® Warm Mouse is available on their web site for $29.95 with free shipping. I could not find a local retailer. For more information and to hear the warm mouse theme song, visit www.warmmouse.com.

Mother’s Day Gift Guide: Day 8 - WarmMe Warm Mouse
Warm mom’s hands - and her heart - with this plug and play device.
One year for Mother’s Day, my siblings and I pitched in and bought our mom a hamper. It was large (the better to hold all our dirty clothes) and wicker, which we thought was oh so stylish and better looking than the plastic bucket-looking thing that we were using at the time.
We were thrilled with our gift selection. Mom, not so much. She thought the hamper was for the house, not for her, and that a Mother’s Day gift, no matter how small, should be a luxury, a treat for mom, something she wouldn’t get for herself.
Okay, so my misguided childhood choices led me to select the WarmMe Warm Mouse for the gift guide this Mother’s Day. Sure, mom does real work on the computer, but she does have some fun too (what else could explain TelevisionWithoutPity being bookmarked?). And having a warm mouse certainly is a luxury. Not everyone can keep their fingers warm and comfortable while manipulating a mouse….but mom will love it.
For moms going green, the WarmMe Warm Mouse is smart and practical, allowing her to keep warm without turning up the thermostat. The Warm Mouse uses just five volts to warm the user’s hand, but that infrared heat is also a defense against carpal tunnel. What better way to tell a plugged-in mom that you care?
And, just in time for Mother’s Day, the folks at WarmMe are offering a spring special - just $29.95 for this heart-warming gift. So order one for mom today - and give her a mouse she won’t be afraid of.

Whether you are a consumer or an employer you should check out all the benefits this mouse has! It has infrared heat so it can help with the problems of repetitive stress, carpal tunnel syndrome, and arthritis, as well as a natural antibacterial deterrent.
I was so excited to receive the Warm Mouse because I have poor circulation and my fingers are always cold when using the computer. I would constantly have to stop working and sit on my hands it would get so bad. I have been using this mouse that heats up for just over a week and its been heaven. I truthfully never want to use another mouse again. And whats even better is that it is so easy to use I bring it to work with me as well. All I had to do was take it out of the package, unplug my old mouse, and plug this one in. That's it! It was really that simple. Plus, if I didn't want the heat on I can easily turn the heating function off and still use the mouse. Also, if you shut your computer down andforget to turn off the mouse...it turns off with the computer.
I love having the WarmMe WarmMouse! If you think with the summer coming this wouldn't come in handy think again. Where I work is so frigid with the AC on that its like winter all over again!
Want one? They are compatible for ALL computers! Plus, they are only $29.95 with FREE shipping! Purchase directly from their website! They take all major credit cards including my favorite- PayPal!

A cold “mouse hand” can cramp a casual gamer or blogger’s style, making it hard to stay warm, even if you’ve managed to bundle up. While many office workers warm up by turning up the heat in the room, there’s a more energy-efficient (and in my opinion, comfortable) way to stay cozy when sitting at the PC.
The Warm Mouse is a simple yet effective USB optical mouse that uses only five volts to deliver warming heat to the hand of the user. It’s far less of an obstruction than typical typists’ gloves and it has a convenient on/off switch in the cord that lets you decide when you need it.
In addition to using less heat than a traditional room-warming solution (such as a space heater), the Warm Mouse delivers warmth only to your hand, making it perfect for those of us who still get cold hands during summer months. Its infrared heat is also a practical defense against carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive stress, and arthritis, as well as a natural antibacterial deterrent.
The plug-and-play device is an energy-efficient solution for your cold fingers and possible health complications.

As a person who has suffered with Lupus for 1/2 of my life I can attest to how difficult it can be to deal with pain in my wrists. I have also held a desk job for the past 5 years. This means that there have been days when I get home from work and my wrists are killing me from working on the computer.
I love what WarmMe Mouse can do to help my wrists and those of other who suffer with similar health related problems.

MY OPINION OF THE WARM MOUSE? I love it! The warmth of the mouse felt so good on my hand (that I had the surgery on). I wish I had known about the Warm Me Mouse before I had my surgery, as I think it would have been so helpful and soothing. I recommend the Warm Me Mouse to anybody and everybody, but if you have Carpal Tunnel, arthritis, circulation problems or other ailments in the hand/wrist, I would say it is a must-have. Another thing I really like is the shape of the mouse. I have small hands, and sometimes I have difficulty finding a comfortable mouse. This fits my hands perfectly.

Oh my yes yes yes! I love it!!!! This mouse is the best mouse in the universe!! It really is. I love the warming feature. I get really cold hands and my basement where my computer is is SO cold always and this keeps me warm. I also suffer from Tendinitis really bad and lately with all my typing it has acted up in full flare up and this mouse has been awesome with relaxing my wrist and hand and taking some of the pain away.
Another feature I totally love is it is a optical mouse. None of those stupid balls on the bottom always getting dirty and getting stuck or falling out it is great. It has a soft rubbery coating on it not the hard plastic so it is so comfortable to touch and grip. It has a illuminated scrolling wheel which is great for at night . It also has a on and off switch when you don't want to use the awesome heating feature but I honestly have never shut mine off ever. ]
So if your in the market for a new mouse look no further or if you have Tendinitis, carpal Tunnel, and even arthritis this is the mouse for you. It is the most worth it computer accessory you'll ever buy!

I love this mouse. The fact that it heats up is even better. Now, heating aside, this mouse rocks! I have had a tough time finding a great mouse that is comfortable, but this one is the best and the fact that it heats up will help warm my cold hands. This product really is a great one and I recommend it to everyone.

The Warm Mouse is the only HEATED computer mouse. My hands and feet are cold all the time, even in the summer, so the Warm Mouse sounded perfect for me. The first thing I liked is that it is easy to set up. I plugged the Mouse into my USB port and it only took about 3 minutes to warm up. There isn’t complicated software to install, which is a huge plus. The Warm Mouse reaches its maximum temperature of 104 degrees in 20 minutes. I definitely loved the warm feeling of the Mouse. It felt very soothing and nice. I also like that it has a scroll wheel and I liked the size and shape, it felt very comfortable. The Warm Mouse passed the test from all of the other computer users in the family. According to the Warm Mouse website, it can help people who suffer from Arthritis and Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. It works with any PC, Mac, or laptop. I think the price is really good for all that it does. You can buy it for $29.95 at www.warmmouse.com. I would love to see a wireless version in the future. More information from the website is below.

I was so excited when I found out I would be reviewing the WarmMe® Warm Mouse and I was even more excited when the mailman delivered it! The first thing I loved about this mouse was how easy it was to set up. Because this mouse uses a standard USB connection, it can easily connect to any PC, Mac or laptop computer. In addition, I thought it was great because there was no additional software needed to operate it.
A few minutes after plugging in my mouse and turning it on, I was enjoying the warmth of this mouse! I was pleasantly surprised by how much heat this device actually gives off and how quickly it heats up. This mouse is heated to a perfect 104°F. I also love that when my hand is warmed up or I do not feel like using the warming function at the time, that with the press of a button I can easily turn it off (without unplugging it)!
Another aspect of this mouse that is wonderful is the ergonomic design. After using this mouse instead of my old one, I find that my hand doesn’t get sore nearly as often. Finally, this mouse comes with the standard 2-button, 3 function design. I can easily click right, left or scroll.
Overall, I absolutely love this mouse. There isn’t one thing I’d change. I think it is a great solution for anyone that works on the computer for an extended period of time or for anyone who has one of the medical conditions I mentioned above. In addition, for the added features of this mouse, I think this mouse is superbly priced.

When I first heard about the Warm Mouse, I will admit, I thought it was a gimmick. But then it turned cold outside, and I found myself sitting at my computer with my right hand so stiff and cold I could barely operate my mouse. And I thought wistfully of the pitch in my email inbox asking me to try out this new invention.
So I decided to eat crow and emailed the delightful Sandra, inventor and owner of the WarmMe® Warm Mouse (you have to read her story — it’s a good one!) and told her that I’d love to try it. Turns out crow doesn’t taste so bad after all. Sandra was thoroughly gracious and more than willing to send me a review sample. It arrived promptly, and I eagerly opened the box and plugged it in. That was weeks ago, and I’m still using it.
PROS: I love the warmth that it gives off. My mouse hand never completely warms up, but it feels very good under my hand as I’m using it. It’s low voltage, so I don’t worry about it if I forget to leave it on. It can’t harm your computer or burn your desk or anything like that. As a mouse, it works great and is very responsive. It has a scroll wheel (that’s probably not the technical term, but I never claimed to be a techy!) and left and right click buttons.
CONS: I had to give up my wireless mouse when I switched. I would love it if the Warm Mouse went wireless. It also has a loud click, which is certainly not a deal breaker, and is probably typical at this price point.
The long and the short of it: The mouse I retired when I replaced it with my Warm Mouse was in the $80 range. For the retail price of $29.95 and considering the feature of the radiating heat, the Warm Mouse is a great value. I’m still using it, and I plan to use it as long as it’s cold outside. I’ll probably switch back to my other mouse for the summer.

My muscles could definitely feel a difference. I could feel my wrist relax which was a nice difference from using my wireless mouse or scrolling with my finger.
I give this product a thumbs up for anyone who uses a computer on a regular basis. Whether you are a Mommy blogger or an online store owner, you know how tired your hands get. The Warm Mouse is definitely a product you need to check out. You won't be disappointed.

The WarmMe Warm Mouse. This is a computer mouse that has a warming element built in, so your hand will stay warm. I am the type of person who is always cold, and even when I layer my clothing, my hands still freeze. This neat little mouse was a great remedy for my cold hand problem. This would be great for someone who suffers from Carpel Tunnel or arthritis in the hand or wrist. This is also great for someone who works in front of a computer for long periods of time.
The WarmMe mouse is a two key mouse with a roller ball. It has an ergonomic design that makes is very comfortable to use, and an on/off switch that controls the heating element. Another great feature is that you do not need any additional software to use it, just plug in and go, and it works with any type of computer by plugging in the USB cord. The mouse gives the perfect amount of heat, not too hot, and when you are not using it you can turn it off.

If you are like me and suffer from being cold or chilled all the time.. do I have the perfect thing for you! I was sent the WarmMe Mouse byWarm Mouse to review. The WarmMe Mouse is an ergonomic, infrared heated computer mouse. Yep, that’s right, heated! Which means no more cold holds while I spend countless hours on the computer. YippeeThe mouse was very comfortable to the hand, it’s about the size of any regular mouse you find at the store. There was no installation of any kind, I just plugged it in to my computer and we were off an running! (I hate having to install software!)
When my hands are really cold I have pain in my joints and the WarmMe mouse soothed my fingers so there was no more pain. This product helped so much I think I will be sending it to a few family members who suffer from arthritis. I know they will enjoy it and it will allow them to work on the computer pain free!
There is an on/off switch on the cord so if someone else uses the mouse and doesn’t need the warming the function you can simply turn it off. Since the mouse is an optical mouse, there is no need to use a mouse pad if you don’t want to.

I was sent a WarmMe Warm Mouse to review, and I could not have been more excited! During the time between receiving the WarmMe Warm Mouse and having a cast put on, I was able to play around a bit with the it. It is amazing how much it helped my wrist pain and allowed me to type - even just a little bit. The warmth of the mouse was so relaxing for my hand. It reminds me of what it feels like when I put moist heat on my wrist. The WarmMe Warm Mouse has a button in the cord for me to turn the heat on or off, and I really like that feature because my hand felt better when I used the heat setting for awhile and then turned it off for a bit.
If you suffer from wrist or hand pain, or if you just want the benefit of using a mouse that will keep you warm while you type, you should purchase the WarmMe Warm Mouse. I highly recommend this product for anyone, especially those with any sort of hand or wrist pain.

There is an on and off switch so it doesn't have to be a constant heat either. It is also delievers therapeutic heat to relax tight hand and wrist muscles, improving circulation and helping overworked joints as well as with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Over the weekend they are estimating that it will snow down to 2,00 feet. They are also expecting to get around 6 FEET of snow. Basically another "March Miracle" I am so thankful for my Warm Mouse to keep my hands warm while on the PC during this storm.

It’s the best thing since sliced bread. Wanna know what it is? It’s the Warm Mouse. That’s right it’s an optical mouse that has a built in heater right in the palm of your hands. I will admit, I was a little skeptical at first. The website says it warms up to 104 degrees. I thought yeah right that’s impossible for a computer mouse to heat up like that. Boy was I ever wrong.
To look at it you would think it’s just any ordinary computer mouse. It has the left and right side button, it has the scroll feature, it lights up and it hooks right into the USB drive.
The one thing that sets this mouse apart from the rest is, it has a control switch built into the cord. If the button is pushed in, the mouse will start to warm up within seconds. And will gradually cool back down once switched off. I am a cold person. I hate cold weather and my hands tend to stay like ice during the winter months. Plus with the added some type of Arthritis in my hands, working at times can be very hard and painful. It’s really good for people with circulatory problems in their hands, carpal tunnel and various ailments due to Arthritis.
The creator of Warm Mouse had a vision after suffering at her computer all day. She, like so many of us, would get cold hands. No space heater could bring comfort or relief. So came the idea of the mouse with the heater built right into it. Who says dreams can’t come true.
I have had mine now for a few days now and I don’t know how I went this long without it. When my hands start cramping, hurting or just get cold, I lay them on my mouse as I’m working or surfing around. I’m still in awe that someone created a computer mouse that gets warm. If you or a loved one works at a computer all day long and suffers from carpal tunnel, arthritis, poor circulation, tendonitis, or they work in a cold environment, this is the perfect Christmas or birthday present for them. Like I said, it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I give it a two warm thumbs up!!

Let me tell you, when I saw WarmMe Mouse, I KNEW I had to do a review on it.
I spend a lot of time on the computer, doing different things, chatting with friends, doing Etsy and of course my blog. My hands ache at night. My left hand gets SO cold from keeping it on my mouse, with poor circulation.
I contacted WarmMe Mouse because I really wanted to review their awesome product thinking maybe it could help me.
I received this earlier today and I am IN LOVE with this mouse.
It keeps my hand nice and warm, it doesn't ache at all.

As you might imagine, I spend quite a bit of time on my computer. From my part-time job, to my editing responsibilities, to networking online, and then just reading my various entertainment sites, I’m always online. When I’m home alone working two days a week, I usually keep my heat very low to save money, and dress in layers. However, I do find that my hands get cold. I was so excited to receive a WarmMe Warm Mouse — a heated mouse that works with both PCs and Macs!
The WarmMe Warm Mouse works with any computer via a USB connection. I tried it with my PC and Mac and it worked immediately with both. It’s ergonomically shapped, and emits the perfect amount of heat. I find it very relaxing to use, and it definitely solves my problem of cold hands.
So, how does it function as a mouse? I’m pleased to say it works great, with both my PC and Mac. It has a left and right clip button as well as a trackwheel. I find myself using it all the time now, instead of my wireless Mac mouse.

Many moms out there have a common complaint: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (or something similar). Some blame it on holding their baby so much (what? blame a baby?) and many blame it on the number of hours they use their mouse while sitting at a computer, checking emails, uploading baby pictures, etc. Even non-Moms agree, this is a painful problem to have. WarmMe® WARM MOUSE is a sensible solution.

After I was able to plug it in by myself, I turned it on immediately. After about a minute, it was warmed up and ready for me to use! My fingers are ALWAYS cold and I always have to take breaks to get my fingers warm! LOL, the fastest way to do that is usually to sit on my hands! It gets them warm and working again fast! Since using my WarmMe Mouse, I can keep on using the computer without having to take breaks to warm my fingers! My fingers AND hand stay warm. As soon as Andrew got home from work I made him sit down and use it as well! He was as impressed as I was! My brother came over last night and was using my computer and told me that the WarmMe Mouse was the best idea he had heard of in a long time! I will NOT be going back to my old mouse!
Buy It!
If you're like me and always have cold hands and fingers while on the computer, or if you're suffering from joint paint or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, you REALLY need the WarmMe Mouse! Once you try in you'll never use your old mouse again!

Recently I had the opportunity to try out an interesting product called the WarmMe Warm Mouse. The WarmMe Mouse is an ergonomically designed, infrared heated mouse compatible with any type of computer with a USB interface. It is an accurate 800 dpi, optical 2-button scrolling mouse. What's the reason for a heated mouse? There are several reasons behind the invention of the WarmMe Warm Mouse a few being cold work spaces, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, tendinitis and poor circulation.
The WarmMe mouse heats up to 104 degrees F, at first this seemed a bit hot to me. I definitely enjoyed the warm feeling of the mouse on cold mornings in my house. The nice thing is the mouse comes with an on/of switch so I could switch it off once it heated up and enjoy a warm, but not too hot mouse. I did get more used to the temperature with more use, the site says it takes an adjustment period but that the temperature is 104 for maximum benefits from the infrared waves. I do not suffer from any of the conditions this mouse is said to benefit but my husband does. He thought the temperature was fine and kept the heat on the whole time he used it. As to whether it helped his joints, he couldn't really say, he does a lot of typing and not a ton of mouse usage. The infrared heat does feel very nice and soothing no matter whether you have joint issues or not.
I think my favorite thing about the heat as a mom is that the infrared kills bacteria so the mouse stays clean. I do really like the design it is very comfortable to use and I like that it is optical and no mouse pad is needed.

A lot of offices (including home offices) are cheap when it comes to cranking the heat. A blanket and mittens may look funny, but you can gift a little warmth with the Warm Mouse. The company says that it can improve circulation, reduce Carpal Tunnel symptoms, and emits infrared rays that can produce better enzymes within muscle cells. Superpowers aside, we just love that this 800 dpi, optical 2-button scrolling mouse can make one hand a little sweaty as the rest of the human body turns blue. It works with any PC, Mac, and even a laptop.

This product is EXACTLY what its name is…its a warm mouse! As in a warm COMPUTER mouse. This product intrigued me from the second I saw it, so I had to contact them to see if we could test it out. Not only do I type, often equivilent to 5 hours straight a day, but I work with my hands on my crafting business and there is nothing that cracks more on my body then my fingers.
It did feel great. I can imagine sitting in a cold office, I used to work in one, and this would have been a welcome way to work. I used to have a heater that sat under my desk that blew the fuse in the building a ton. It was THAT cold. Warm mouse would have been there for me. It did make my hands feel great and people like my step mom, that have severe arthritis in their hands, would find this a better way to surf the web.
There is nothing more painful then your hands (or teeth) when they hurt, so I can see the overall, long term benefits of using warm mouse! Your wondering what to get grandma and mom for christmas that is unique and useful? This is it.

Yes, it's a Monday and I'm cranky. But I have a little bit of a pick-me-up for mommies with achy hands. The Warm Me Warm Mouse is a simple computer mouse (and I know you all have computers) with a twist. Plug it into your computer's USB port like you would any other mouse, and the Warm Me has a button to power up its warming capabilities. No extra plugs necessary - it runs off the computer. I picked up a similar concept for my mom for Christmas - a blanket that runs off of the USB when she's cuddling in her armchair with the laptop.
I'd recommend the WarmMouse for laptop users too… The warmth is just what mom needs when her hand starts cramping after being curled around the mouse too long, searching for the last pieces of that Halloween costume or the symptoms of croup online. It works on Mac or PC, and all you have to do is plug it in.

A mouse that keeps your fingers toasty? No, really!
No, it's NOT a pet. It's a computer mouse that warms up to help treat carpal tunnel and arthritis.
I know, weird, right? I thought it would be. In fact, I thought it would be mildly creepy having the mouse warm up. But it's totally not. It's actually rather soothing.
First off, I have to say I love the mouse itself. I've been using this one for a long time since I'm a Mac user, and while it's very pretty I have to admit it is not particularly ergonomic and doesn't feel nice in your hand. The WarmMe WarmMouse has a very nice shape, making it easy to rest your thumb and pinky fingers on either side of the mouse, and it has a nice functional roller (the wireless Mac roller thing is inconsistent, I must say). I'd also forgotten how much I missed the right click option.
But the warming is actually the best part. It reminds me of being a little girl with a cold and using my mom's heating pad; it's very soothing. I have to admit that my hand feels better too using it. This surprised me because I don't have any carpal tunnel OR arthritis (that I know of--yikes), but it definitely keeps my hand from fatiguing.

Kelby over at Type-A Mom asked me to review the WarmMe WarmMouse (and this review is cross-posted there). No, it's NOT a pet. It's a computer mouse that warms up to help treat carpal tunnel and arthritis.
